You are a fabulous mother!
Yes--you! You perform miracles every day. You are marvellous, stupendous and sensational!
Young or old, your children can absolutely attest- you have eyes on the back of your head, the uncanny ability to read minds, and x-ray vision that can spot trouble a mile away.
But no, your fabulousness doesn't stop there! They've seen you magically whip up a gourmet meal out of an empty pantry, scale tall structures to retrieve a rogue Frisbee, and can even get bubble gum out of hair.
You're incredible. Legendary, even. You're super mom but without the cape!
We know being a fabulous mother takes a lot of work. Twenty-four hours a day, you're a chauffeur, short order cook, cheerleader, protector, entertainer, lobbyist, psychologist and on demand bank machine. And that's just the beginning!
Sure, not every day is a cake walk in the blissfully sunny world of motherhood.
Mothers get sick. Mothers get tired. Sometimes, it's a little more like "sick and tired." They get frustrated, grumpy and even have moments where they feel like a troll. But it's never for long. Fabulous mothers always bounce back and we're lucky for it.
We know motherhood is not a perfect science. It's half art, half luck and a whole lot of improvisation.
Fabulous mothers hold a special place in this world. They have kisses that heal and words that inspire. Fabulous mothers make the effort to raise children who make the world a little better.
Thanks for that. We salute you.
